CWCP Classes Promote
Professionalism in Industry
In Georgia professionals have the opportunity to obtain a Certified Workers' Compensation Professional (CWCP) designation by taking a forty hour courses that consists of two days of classroom, independent study and a final exam. Over 200 companies have participated in the CWCP program.
The CWCP class was designed to promote professionalism in the industry and improve claims handling. A successful graduate can then apply for a Georgia Workers' Compensation License from the Georgia Insurance Department.
The class has been successfully completed by over 500 individuals including employers, third party administrators, insurance company's medical providers and attorneys. The focus of the class is to increase the knowledge and the communication through the workers' compensation system.
